British soccer team, Chelsea, wants to get diverse; hosts “Asian Soccer Star” event.
Brilliant. Can you imagine the NFL or NBA doing something like that?
Of course in England, “Asian” mostly connotes South Asians unlike in America (where it’s usually East Asians), but I think this observation makes it clear Asian is as Asian does:
