BURGER KING CORPORATION APPOINTS JULIA HUANG TO DIVERSITY ACTION COUNCIL
Miami, FL January 14, 2003 - Burger King Corporation announced the appointment of Julia Huang, CEO of Intertrend Communications, to the company's Diversity Action Council (DAC).

"We are pleased that Julia Huang is joining our Diversity Action Council as we continuously commit ourselves and our company fully to diversity and equal opportunity at all levels of our business," said John Dasburg, chairman, Burger King Corporation. Huang's professional affiliations include the Asian American Advertising Federation, for which she is a founding member and Board of Director. For the consecutive years of 1996, 1997 and 1998, Avenue Magazine honored Julia Huang as one of the 500 most influential Asian Americans.
