Giancarlo Pacheco
President, Plan C Agency
Born in Manila, Philippines of Filipino, Chinese and Spanish decent,
Giancarlo arrived in the United States after 6 months with his grandparents
reuniting with his father and mother, Nilo and Tessie Pacheco in the San
Francisco Bay Area. As part of the 1.5 generation, he has always strived to
fit in and assimilate, but found hardships in acceptance due to lack of
representation of Asian Pacific Americans. 1992 he involved himself in
Asian Pacific American college organizations and served as chairman of
statewide organization NCPASO to help provide a voice for Asian Pacific
Americans young college students. 1997, he graduated from San Francisco
State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications and
Minor in Marketing.
He is known as one of the founding fathers of Asian Pacific American event
entertainment in San Francisco, his vision of uniting and providing a voice
for Asian Pacific Americans led to the creation of Climax Global
Entertainment in 1995. With 21 brands and 12 domestic and 5 international
operations, today it is the largest events production company for Asian
Pacific American youth and young adult audience. 2001, Climax Global
Entertainment became part of what is known as the Plan C Group Inc. holdings
company. With holdings in events (Climax Global Entertainment LLC), music
(Catch Music Group LLC), media (28 online media properties) and marketing
(Plan C Agency LLC), its vision is to create and influence the Asian Pacific
American global lifestyle.
